"Juice your Finances" was the first of 4 episodes where we will see Arap Bethke and her friends Chefs in the kitchen sharing recipes, personal finance tips and inspirational stories.

Process:

  1. Fill pot halfway with cold water

  2. Introduce chicken breasts to Ziploc bag separated from each other. Add salt, a lemon wedge on each one, rosemary, a clove of garlic, olive oil, salt and butter. Close the bag almost completely, leaving a quarter open and slowly immerse it in the pot with water, taking care that it does not enter the bag, until all the air has left, and close completely.

  3. Heat the skillet over medium high heat and add olive oil, garlic, onion, and squash. Cook until soft (about 5 min.). Add the coriander, thyme, salt and pepper and blend.

  4. Remove the breasts from the water and carefully remove them from the bag. Heat the medium skillet over high heat, add a little oil and seal for 1 minute each.

  5. To serve, place chicken breast and bathe with pumpkin sauce. It can be served with rice, more vegetables or legumes.

Process:

  1. The potatoes are fried in the oil until lightly browned and salt to taste

  2. While the potatoes are cooking separately, the onion is fried. A little later the garlic is added and since the aromas come out, the jalapeño pepper is added. The ingredients are well integrated and removed from the pan.

  3. Now, in the same pan, put the chorizo and cook well until it changes color and is well cooked. The vegetables that we cook are added and finally the chopped tomato is added.

  4. The chorizo stew is added to the potatoes, they are integrated in an enveloping way and it is left to cook a little more so that the potatoes take on all the flavors of the chorizo stew.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
