Students from Mercy Center showed their appreciation to Qualitas of Life

A group of students of the financial education program taught by Qualitas of Life in association with the Mercy Center, showed their appreciation to the organization in a special and very particular way.

Last Thursday, July 16, Qualitas of Life was invited by this group of students to the South Bronx to receive a beautiful hand-embroidered blanket. It should be noted that each family benefited by our programs, sewed one by one the letters that make up the blanket.

At the gathering, Myriam Rebling, executive director addressed the group with words of thanks and in the company of Ana Flores, director of education for Qualitas of Life, received the gift on behalf of the organization.

These families, mostly residents of the Bronx, have been affected in different ways by the COVID-19 pandemic, and have not only participated in the workshops and webinars that Qualitas of Life has dictated, but also benefited from the PAM-COVID-19 Migrant Relief Program receiving gift cards or food baskets.
